SUMMARY:S.O.U.P (Support of Urban Projects)
DESCRIPTION:Application\n\n\n\n\n\nPast Recipients\n\n\n\n\n\nFAQ\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHave an idea that could make Greater Green Bay an even better place to live\, work and thrive? S.O.U.P. (Support of Urban Projects) gives community members a platform to share their ideas and an opportunity to receive funding to help bring those ideas to life. \n\n\n\nFor more than a decade\, S.O.U.P. has brought community members together to hear ideas for projects that enhance the quality of life in Greater Green Bay. At the end of the evening\, one individual or organization receives a micro-grant funded by proceeds from the event to help turn their idea into action. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nevent details\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\nThe View at South Bay – 101 Bay Beach Rd\, Ste 5\, Green Bay\, WI 54302 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\napply now!\n\n\n\nThe SOUP Project proposal application is now open. Each presenter—whether an individual or organization—has just three minutes to pitch a project designed to enhance life in our area\, followed by a live Q&A session where the audience gets to dive deeper.\n\n\n\nAdmission is just $10\, and that fee directly contributes to a micro-grant\, awarded to the winning project by your vote. Every presenter walks away with community support\, but one walks away with funding to make their idea a reality. The minimum grant is $500 and can grow with each additional attendee—so bring a friend and amplify the impact.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPast recipients\n\n\n\n\nMicah Center\n\n\n\nLovin’ the Skin I’m In\n\n\n\nFoster the Village\n\n\n\nMulticultural Club – Langlade Elementary School\n\n\n\nOur Table: Hunger Heroes\n\n\n\nGood Neighbor Week\n\n\n\nDoty Elementary School’s Food for Friends Pantry\n\n\n\nDeaf Group (Deaf Club)\n\n\n\nLaundry Love Brown County\n\n\n\nStock the Truck – Wello Inc.\n\n\n\nResilient Roots – CASA of Brown County\n\n\n\nBuilt Literacy Environment – Achieve Brown County\n\n\n\nMessy Arts Guild\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrequently asked questions\n\n\n\n\nDo I have to be a Green Bay resident to submit a project?\nNo\, but the project must be implemented within Greater Green Bay. \n\n\n\n\nWhen will I know if my project was selected to present at the event?\nYou will be notified at least 3 weeks prior to the event. \n\n\n\n\nHow long will I have to present?\nChosen applicants will be given 5 minutes to present their proposal to event attendees. 3 minutes will be allowed for Q &A. \n\n\n\n\nWill there be technology available?\nIf all selected projects desire technology\, it will be offered.
