Each year, Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic hosts BRAs of the Bay to help close the loop on breast cancer and raise awareness of the breast reconstruction rights of breast cancer patients and those who need risk-reducing mastectomies. This year’s event will take place on October 22, 2026.

While the creativity on display is always impressive, BRAs of the Bay is much more than an art show. The BRAs acronym stands for Breast Reconstruction Awareness, and the event helps educate the community about breast reconstruction options and the rights available to breast cancer patients. It encourages important conversations around a topic that is often misunderstood while celebrating the strength, courage, and resilience of survivors. Most importantly, it helps raise awareness for our cause and the resources available to those impacted by breast cancer.

The event is a wonderful opportunity for organizations across Northeast Wisconsin to come together in support of breast cancer awareness while showcasing creativity, community spirit, and meaningful stories through art.

Proceeds from BRAs of the Bay benefit the Ribbon of Hope Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to breast cancer patients throughout Northeast Wisconsin. ROH is a 100% Volunteer Organization where $.97 out of each $1 raised goes to support those in our community undergoing active treatment for Breast Cancer. These funds help cover expenses related to treatment and recovery, allowing patients and their families to focus on healing rather than financial stress.
