The Brian LaViolette Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship, distributed equally over four years, designed to offer a high school senior student the inspiration to succeed and the financial backing to help make higher education possible.
The Brian LaViolette Scholarship is awarded to one high school senior graduating from school districts that participate in Partners in Education, a program of the Greater Green Bay Chamber. The Chamber will contact participating schools to provide them with the selection process details. Each school has the option to select one candidate from their school, who then submits an application to the Partners in Education selection committee. Each principal and/or high school counselor is asked to select a student based on his or her academic achievement, leadership and community involvement—ideals that were all very important to Brian LaViolette. Those students chosen should be considered team players with a thirst for knowledge, but most importantly, future leadership potential.
If you are a student interested in being nominated for this scholarship, speak with your high school principal and/or counselor.
Once a student is nominated, he/she will receive a link to an electronic application and details. The student will need to provide information about his/her academic career as well as write an essay.
1) The applications process will begin in January 2021.
2) Nominations from principals and/or counselors are due Friday, February 5, 2021.
3) Applications will be due Friday, March 5, 2021 by 11:59 p.m.
4) The recipient of the scholarship will be announced in May 2021.

The 5/12 scholarship is awarded to 5th grade, at-risk students as an ongoing financial incentive to continue with their education through grade 12 and on to a post-secondary initiation. This scholarship is under the auspices of the Greater Green Bay Chamber and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
During the 5th grade year, the student is awarded a certificate of the scholarship by the Chamber. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded at the time the student graduates from 12th grade and registers at a post-secondary institution.
Two (2) students from Partners In Education schools will be selected each year for the scholarship, as funds in the account are available. Implementation began in the 1993-94 school year. All students awarded the scholarship in the past are encouraged to contact the Greater Green Bay Chamber or the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation as they graduate from high school to learn more about receiving their scholarship funds.
