The Brian LaViolette Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship designed to offer a high school senior student the inspiration to succeed and the financial backing to help make higher education possible.
HOW IT WORKS
The Brian LaViolette Scholarship is awarded to one high school senior graduating from the Partners in Education of the Greater Green Bay Chamber school districts. The Greater Green Bay Chamber will contact participating schools to provide them with the selection process details. Each school has the option to select one candidate from their school, who then submits an application to the Partners in Education of the Greater Green Bay Chamber selection committee. Each principal and/or high school counselor is requested to select a student based on his or her academic achievement, leadership and community involvement—ideals that were all very important to Brian, himself. Those students chosen should be considered team players with a thirst for knowledge, but most importantly: future leaders.
If you are a student interested in being nominated for this scholarship, speak with your high school principal and/or counselor.
Once a student is nominated, that student will receive a link to an electronic application and details. That student will have to provide information about their academic career as well as write an essay.
