Free Fall Day Promises Vibrant Colors, Fun Family-Friendly Activites, & More

Celebrate Green Bay Botanical Garden’s anniversary and the Garden’s deep roots in the community!

Fall Festival returns on Saturday, September 27 with hands-on activities, garden club displays, and so much more. Guests can enjoy free admission from 9 am–6:30 pm and family-friendly activities like pumpkin bowling, candy corn ring toss, and others from 9 am–4 pm.

A suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family is greatly appreciated. These donations help support the Garden, a 100% community-supported nonprofit that connects people with plants in an environment that engages, inspires, and refreshes.

Advance registration is also encouraged to help the Garden Team plan for the event – activities, supplies, food, and volunteers – so each guest can enjoy the day to the fullest.

Groups, clubs, and organizations from the community will be offering free activities for all guests, including:

  • Evergreen Theater Workshop: Games & Improv for All | 10–11 am
  • Face Painting (by the Pulaski Middle School Art Club) | 11 am–2 pm
  • Evergreen Theater Workshop: Step into the Spotlight | 1–2 pm
  • Harvest Native Seeds with The Brown County Seed Library | 1–3 pm
  • Club demonstrations by the Brown County Bee Keepers Association, Bay Area Daylily Buds (B.A.D. Buds), Bay Area Bonsai Society, Wild Ones Green Bay, and Northeast Wisconsin Master Gardeners

Food and drinks will be available to purchase from Heritage Coffee and Cottontail Candy, and also from the Garden’s Concessions including Happy Joe’s Pizza (only from 10 am–2 pm). Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy in the Garden (no alcohol carry-ins allowed).

Guests can also enjoy the Bell Children’s Garden, 2.5 acres of play, nature, and learning that cultivate curiosity and a lifelong love of the natural world! From vibrant fall hues to lush garden beds, early autumn is a spectacular time to see the Garden’s final push of colorful scenes before the plants and flowers go to sleep until spring.
