Brown County United Way to Bring Holiday Cheer and Community Voice Through HubCAP at Holiday Parade
Brown County United Way (BCUW) will roll into the holiday season with its HubCAP (Community Access Partnership) participating in this year’s Annual Green Bay Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 22. The festive HubCAP RV; one of the program’s three mobile units, will be decked out in holiday lights, offering warmth, connection, and a first look at a new way for community members to share what it means to thrive in Brown County.

Launched in 2023, HubCAP is designed to close the gap between where services exist and where people live, work, and gather across Brown County. With a fleet that includes a bus, an RV, and a mobile classroom, HubCAP travels throughout communities across Brown County including Denmark, Pulaski,
and Wrightstown, delivering coordinated support through nonprofit partners to residents who often face limited access to services
Working alongside more than 80 nonprofits, public agencies, and employers, HubCAP has provided
services including mental health consultations, housing support, legal assistance, and food access. Learn more about HubCAP by visiting our website at www.browncountyunitedway.org/hubcap
At the parade, BCUW will introduce an innovative engagement tool: scratch cards that invite residents to share their perspectives on what helps them thrive in Brown County. Each scratch card will reveal a unique code and QR link to a short online survey as part of BCUW’s Voices of Brown County initiative. This future-focused approach will make community listening more accessible, private, and engaging— meeting people right where they will already be gathering. Participants will have until December 31, 2025 to complete the survey, and get a chance of winning a gift card.
The scratch cards represent more than a festive parade activity; they reflect BCUW’s commitment to listening first. Through HubCAP and Voices of Brown County, BCUW will gather real-time insights on the evolving needs of residents and use this information to guide its strategic investments and longterm community priorities.
“Our goal is simple,” shared Robyn Davis, President and CEO of Brown County United Way. “To build solutions with the community, not for the community. HubCAP helps us meet people where they are, and Voices of Brown County ensures we develop our strategy around what residents tell us matters most.”
As HubCAP continues to roll through communities and Voices of Brown County elevates local perspectives, BCUW will be strengthening the foundation for systems-level change, ensuring every person can thrive.
