Career EXCELerate Wisconsin Program/STudents Look Ahead to the Future
On May 4, Goodwill North Central Wisconsin (NCW) and Fox Valley Technical College will celebrate the latest cohort of students to earn educational certificates through the Career EXCELerate program. Individuals receiving certificates will be supported by faculty, friends and family. In addition, program leaders from Goodwill NCW will be on hand to talk about the success of the grant and address the future of the program.

Career EXCELerate Wisconsin was launched in the summer of 2022, thanks to a Workforce Innovation Grant from the State of Wisconsin that concludes in June of 2026. Despite the grant ending, the program will live on, as Goodwill NCW has announced that it will sustain funding for the program moving forward and expand partnerships and access in all of the counties it serves by offering in-person, online, hybrid options at no cost to the participant.
Career EXCELerate Wisconsin was originally the idea of three partners, Goodwill NCW, Fox Valley Technical College, and Rawhide Youth Services. The program provides training to those with barriers to employment, offering a variety of career pathways along with wrap-around personalized care to ensure successful completion and employment upon graduation. Those who complete the program receive certifications at no cost in fields within health care, skilled trades and retail.
