Green Bay, Wis. -- (Dec. 18, 2019) - The Greater Green Bay Chamber announces it is planning a nine-day, seven-night trip to ancient Spain and the Costa del Sol, departing Nov. 4, 2020. The community is invited to join the Chamber on its annual international group trip at a more competitive cost than booking individually.
The trip conveniently departs from Green Bay and provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the sunshine of legendary Costa del Sol, and then embark on a discovery of its exciting history of explorers and invaders. The backdrop will include hilltop citadels, elaborate cathedrals and palaces, brilliantly whitewashed houses, and quaint Andalusian courtyards, all of which speak of the many cultures that graced Southern Spain. This once-great stronghold of Muslim Spain is a fabulous destination for individuals who appreciate beauty, history and tradition, and contains some of the country's most celebrated architectural wonders. These include opportunities to visit the Alhambra in Granada, the great Gothic cathedral in Seville, the Alcazar and the incredible sight of Ronda, perched dramatically on a bluff overlooking a plunging gorge.
“This is such an incredible opportunity to join a group of travelers from our own community and visit Spain together. Travelers can expect to learn, experience the best of the local culture and maybe even make a few new friends,” said Micky Doyle, special events manager for the Greater Green Bay Chamber.
Space is limited, and when you book before March 16, 2020, you’ll lock in the early-bird price of $3,799 and receive the bonus Mijas tour at no additional charge (total savings $170). The trip cost includes airfare from Green Bay, hotels, meals and day trips. Don’t miss this opportunity to build new memories and expand your horizons by visiting this historic country at a very competitive cost.
A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot; online booking and more information can be found at http://www.greatergbc.org/internationaltrip or by contacting Doyle at 920.593.3419 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Greater Green Bay Chamber host information sessions and will post the dates on their website as they are made available.
