Business Recognition Luncheon Awards & Showcase

Judging Process

Nomination Phase - Nominations are open for three weeks. All nominations received are given the opportunity to apply. Nominations are anonymous.

Application Phase - All nominees are informed of their nomination and invited to apply for the award they were nominated for. Applications are collected over a two-week time frame.

De-Biasing Phase - All applications are reviewed, and any identifying information is blacked out. Names and employers are always removed. Aspects of roles, committees, and organizations are removed only to the extent that the applicant not personally be identified without compromising the integrity of the application.

Judging Phase - A new team of judges from the community, awards alumni, and sponsors read and score each application. Each application is read by each judge independently. Through average scores & deliberation, the winner of each award is selected by the team of judges.

In an instance we receive little to no applications for any of the 5 award categories to be judged, an award for said category may not be presented that year.
