Greater Green Bay Teen Leadership

WHAT IS TEEN LEADERSHIP?

Our mission

Greater Green Bay Teen Leadership's mission is to build and strengthen emerging young leaders with skills, knowledge and experiences that prepare them to be effective partners for positive change in the Greater Green Bay area.

Program layout

We accomplish this mission through monthly leadership training sessions in which students:

  • engage in thought-provoking discussions
  • study five leadership practices
  • learn about local community initiatives

Students will experience many different aspects of the Greater Green Bay area through tours and exploration, and have the opportunity to speak to elected officials, business CEOs, nonprofit managers, members of law enforcement and many more community leaders.

"Through the Greater Green Bay Teen Leadership Program, I have become a better leader by facing new challenges, enhancing my interpersonal skills, and meeting other teens who want to make a difference in our community.

"Some aspects of the program I really enjoyed were touring facilities, specifically downtown Green Bay, and interacting with guest speakers especially the government officials panel from our community. Overall this program has not only made me a better leader but, also a better person."
